What support do you offer schools and teachers through Ochre Learning?
We launched Ochre Learning in July 2024. Designed for leaders, teachers, and entire school teams, our courses focus on high-quality curriculum planning, evidence-based instructional practices, and strengthening subject-specific expertise, helping schools build and implement knowledge-rich, coherent curricula and evidence-based instruction. Each course is developed and presented by members of the Ochre team, and many courses involve the opportunity for one-on-one coaching sessions with members of our team.
All our courses prioritise:
Collaboration in school teams - most of our courses encourage teams of teachers to attend and learn together. This enables discussion and reflection during a course, deepening understanding of the core content and how it might be applied to a school’s particular context.
Teams working together on an artefact to drive focus and implementation - we believe that it is in the application of new knowledge and skills that the most considered discussions can occur. By working on a shared artefact, teacher teams can further develop their understanding, while asking questions of the expert Ochre facilitators.
Feedback cycles to support teachers to refine their practice (our model is Learn-Practice-Apply) - all learners benefit from the opportunity to have timely and useful feedback. Each of our extended courses provides multiple opportunities for school teams to receive targeted feedback on their thinking and work.
Ensuring that our programs develop internal expertise that can be replicated over time - each Ochre Learning course aims to build the internal capacity of school teams so that they can teach their colleagues and apply what they have learnt to their school and their students.
We have now had the opportunity to work and learn with over 100 brilliant schools across the country through Ochre Learning programs.

Can I attend the courses as an individual?
Where applicable, courses have the option for individuals to purchase a ticket.
We would like to be invoiced instead of paying by credit card. Is this possible?
Yes - please contact us at [email protected] and we can arrange for an invoice to be sent.
Some of our teachers may not be available during the live session times. Are recordings of the live sessions made available?
Yes - all sessions are recorded and made available immediately post the session. For courses that include school and individual coaching, the sessions are arranged around your availability.
The teachers originally booked for the course are no longer available, can we transfer the booking to another teacher or another course date?
Places are transferable between teachers from the same school for the original booked course. At our discretion, Ochre Education can agree to a program transfer to another course date of the same type, as long as this falls outside of the cancellation policy.
