At Ochre, we offer lesson materials aligned to the Australian Curriculum and state variants. We offer resources aligned to the Australian Curriculum Version 9.0, the Victorian Curriculum Version 2.0, and the new NSW Syllabus. We are working on publishing resources aligned with the Western Australian curriculum.
Where to find the resources
You can view our materials on the resources page. Simply select the curriculum you'd like to use, the year level, and the subject in the dropdown menus to show the yearly overview based on your filters. If you click on a unit in the yearly overview, it will show all the curriculum plans and lesson resources for that unit.
We've colour-coded the curriculums so they're easier to find:
Australian Curriculum: orange
NSW Curriculum: blue
Victorian Curriculum: yellow
Curriculum FAQs
Why do some subjects have units and lessons for more year levels than others?
At Ochre, we are lucky to have worked with a range of curriculum partners and their teachers. While we would love to have all of the curriculum supports and lesson resources available immediately, it takes time to create such high-quality resources. We are gradually adding to our collection of resources, building our offer across more subjects, more curricula and more year levels.
In some cases we have provided supports for one State curriculum, but are still finalising similar supports for another curriculum. In these cases, consider looking into the other curriculums and adapting the lessons to suit your context.
Why can’t I find a particular unit (planned for later in the year)?
Typically, a full unit will be released sometime during the term before the term it's planned for (for example, a Term 4 unit will be released during Term 3).
The curriculum mapping materials like the unit plans and novel study guides will be released first, with the lesson materials to come out later.
Do some of Ochre’s curricula have additional units or lessons?
Some of our curricula include additional units, which can be used flexibly by teachers to respond to their students’ needs, and the practicalities of individual school timetabling. These are marked with asterisks.
In addition, some of our lessons are marked with asterisks. These lessons contain extension content for students who may require extra challenge.
